Meditation has been practiced around the world for thousands of years. It is a technology used to calm the mind and body and release stress. It can also bring focus and clarity, and often, after meditation, the problems you have been struggling with are miraculously resolved. Meditation is also known to inspire people to write and stimulate profitable business ideas as their subconscious surfaces.

A simple form of meditation requires that you sit in a quiet room, either on a pillow, with your legs crossed on the floor, or in a comfortable chair, making sure your spine is straight.

It is advisable that you use the same location every day. It is also suggested that you personalize your location by embellishing it with candles, flowers, and photos of the people you love.

The idea is to sit still, with your eyes closed, and focus on a spot inside the forehead. Try not to think about anything in particular, but also try not to “not” think, allowing your mind to calm down. If you think your mind is “chattering”, don’t try to control it, just let it finish what it is doing, it will eventually calm down.

It is also recommended that beginners start with sessions of ten to twenty minutes each day. After doing this for a while, you will begin to experience deep relaxation and joy during these sessions.

The first step in this self-hypnosis is to sit in a quiet and comfortable place, making sure you are facing a wall about 2.5 meters away. Choose a place or object on the wall and make that place or object your focal point. Looking at your focal point, start counting down from 100, a number for each breath you exhale.

As you do this, imagine yourself floating and feeling very relaxed. Your eyelids will start to get heavy and may start to blink. Let your eyes close slowly and, as the countdown continues, imagine yourself limping like a rag doll, totally relaxed and floating in a safe and comfortable place.

Stop counting and float in your space. If any disturbing thoughts arise while you are in your space, let it flow again and continue to feel safe and relaxed. This technique can help you deal with stress and relieve the tension that builds up during stressful situations.

When you’re ready to get out of self-hypnosis, you can fall asleep or you can count from one to three and leave. First, count one and get ready to leave. At two o’clock, take a deep breath and hold for a few seconds. At three o’clock, exhale and slowly open your eyes. When you open your eyes, continue to hold on to that comfortable, relaxed feeling.

Then, you may want to increase the duration of your sessions to thirty minutes, or perhaps even an hour. In our highly active lifestyle today, it is imperative to include a short period of meditation in our daily schedule. For more self-help tips and techniques, visit my website.
